What exactly I did:
I was provided a High res PDF file of the comic book. I took each image into Photoshop and cut out the elements to be animated and drew in the backgrounds and any part of the object that was obscured. I did this on about half the frames. I also animated that half.

What exactly I did:
I started with John Carpenters comic book Asylum Vol 2 and chose images from it. I edited the animatic with a scratch track and sound effects/music to create the trailer. I took each image into Photoshop and cut out the elements to be animated and drew in the backgrounds and any part of the object that was obscured. I did this for almost every image. It took a while.

At this point, I split the project with 2 other animators, directed their shots and animated with them to get the final product.
